Spray Tanning Tips:
If you are new to spray tanning, we can offer you some tips below to get you ready for your tanning session with us. Sheryl from Noosa Beauty To You is an expert when it comes to tanning (so much so she also runs a spray tanning company too), if you have any questions please feel free to contact her with any questions. We are here to make you feel comfortable & excited about having a spray tan... and we promise our tans won't leave you ORANGE!
1. Exfoliate your skin the morning or night before your tan. You want to do this at least 4 hrs prior to tanning. As spray tan works by dying your dead skin cells your tan will last longer if you remove the top layer.
2. Wash off any make-up and ensure your skin is free from moiturisers & sunscreens at least 1 hr prior to your tan session. This will allow your tan to develop without any barriers on the skin.
3. Make sure you don't shower just before your spray tan as the skin will be damp. If you'd like to shower prior to your tan we advise doing this an hour before your session to ensure it dries completely.
During Your Tanning Session:
If you are new to spray tanning, it can be a little daunting. I hope that your will instantly feel at ease with me, as I do try and make everyone feel safe & comfortable.
We will set up to spray tan in either your bathroom or I can bring along a pop up tent to set up and spray you in.
The actual tan only takes around 5mins to apply. You can wear your underwear, swimming costume or I can supply you with a disposable g-string. If you'd prefer no tan lines you can also opt for going nude.
Our tan applies extreemly fine which allows it to dry quickly. You can put on some loose clothing about 5mins after your session. A big t-shirt or pj's are a good option to wear after a tan.
After Your Tanning Session:
Your tan will take at least 8 hrs to develop.
During the development time you'll need to steer clear of water and it is best to wear dark loose clothing. Our tan applies a lovely natural brown colour that dries fast and looks great for wearing around town.
Once you wash your tan off, you will want to keep your skin hydrated with an oil free moisturizer to extend the tan life.
